All Bahama shutters are extruded aluminum with a baked-on powder coat finish. Standard Bahama colors are white, ivory, beige and black. Additional colors and custom color matching are available for a premium. Bahama Shutters attach with a top hinge and are supported with mill finish arms that telescope to allow for adjustment of shutter projection. The St. Croix Full-View Bahama Shutter - Extruded aluminum articulating blades offer maximum visibility when open and hurricane protection when closed. This Bahama shutter is the only type that allows adjustment of the blades, in addition to adjustment of the frame.
The Martinique Bahama Shutter - Fixed double-wall extruded aluminum blades offer visibility when open and hurricane protection when closed, with the option to close and lock from the interior.
The Captiva - Extruded aluminum fixed louvers with a perforated back that is Hurricane rated and allows for light and ventilation, even when closed.
The St. Lucia and The Cayman Bahama Shutter - A decorative non-rated Bahama shutter that is available in both 2” and 1 ¼” fixed angle extruded aluminum blades in a low-profile frame.
The Antigua Bahama Shutter - A decorative non-rated Bahama shutter with a low profile frame and a c-shape open back blade.
The Tortola Bahama Shutter - A decorative non-rated Bahama shutter with a low profile frame and a flat z-shaped blade.

Colonial Shutters
Colonial Shutters by Sun Barrier Products, Inc. have a traditional colonial look with the benefit of hurricane protection. Shutters are side hinged so they may be closed and locked over the window. Colonials use either a z-style angle closure, or a horizontal locking bar to provide hurricane protection. Colonial Shutters are also available in a fixed style for decoration only. Sun Barrier Products, Inc. manufactures different types of Colonial Shutters:
The Cape Cod Colonial Shutter -Solid back louvers manufactured from extruded aluminum, these shutters are available in single fold and double fold. Shutters lock down with removable angle brackets.
The Nantucket Colonial Shutter -Open back louvers manufactured from extruded aluminum, these shutters are available in single fold and double fold. Shutters lock down with a removable exterior bar closer. This type of Colonial is the easiest to close and lock, and can even be installed on an opening with a precast concrete sill.
The Board and Batten Colonial Shutter -Solid extruded aluminum boards are manufactured for hurricane protection, but have the look of a traditional wood board and batten style. Board sizes come in several different sizes to accommodate various size windows. Shutters close with an exterior bar closer that is quick and easy to use.
